Our Experience
CMS was established by George I. Gonzalez, a communications leader with more than 25 years of experience in policy, housing, transportation, technology, financial industry communications and public affairs.
George has developed and led strategic communications strategies that include the IPO of Oportun (a mission-oriented fintech), national programs for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), including the White House Initiative on Strong Cities, Strong Communities, and the amplification of the Affordable Care Act as an Obama Administration Appointee.
He has established a national reputation for communicating complex topics like urban planning, community development, the use of technology, and financial inclusion to communities that have been traditionally underrepresented.
Currently, he is applying his knowledge and experience to help position Exposition Park as a world-class destination that will host the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics Games and potentially the 2026 FIFA World Cup Fan Festival.
Why We Focus on Simplicity
In our fast-paced, information-saturated world, the ability to communicate complex ideas in a simple, clear, and engaging manner is critical. Organizations and businesses today face the challenge of reaching diverse audiences who receive a constant stream of information from countless sources. The need for communications that are simple, clear, in-language, and easily understood has never been greater.
